Alankrita Mallick
Consultant
Alankrita is a Consultant with the Clean Air team at The Council. Her work with the team is centered around the official engagement with the Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi as she serves as the direct point of contact between CEEW and the Department. The engagement includes technical support, capacity building, providing support to the Green War Room's efforts in Air Pollution Hotspot Management in Delhi and other strategies under the Winter & Summer Action Plans of GNCTD.
Prior to joining The Council, Alankrita worked as a project associate with ICLEI South Asia wherein she worked on the Project: Building City Leadership on Clean Air Action in Delhi NCR with city governments of Delhi (MCD) and Gurugram (GMDA and MCG) to streamline their actions in air quality management.
Prior to that she also worked as a consultant with IQVIA, a third part assessor agency under the Swachh Survekshan Program by MoHUA, with specific focus on the Star Rating of Garbage Free Cities component of the Program.
Alankrita holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from Sushant University and a master's in Urban Development and Management from TERI SAS.
Outside of work, Alankrita loves dancing and has trained in various dance forms like ballet, contemporary, jazz, dancehall and commercial heels and swears the best way of getting by life is dancing through it. She also likes to stay active in other ways, explore new dishes, places and events in the city, but also likes to slow down sometimes to read and cuddle with her cat.
