Uttar Pradesh State Office

In February 2018, The Council set up its first state office in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (UP). Our state office seeks to support the Government of UP in realising its vision of sustainable development and building a trillion dollar economy. We do so with the help of primary research, cutting-edge analytics, and strategic engagements with government departments, regulators, industries and local bodies, with a focus on taking research to action. We use interventions such as new business models, policy and regulatory reforms, pilot studies and technology demonstrations and community engagement to shape the discourse on energy transitions, future of power markets,  clean air, sustainable mobility, sustainable water and creating distributed renewable energy (DRE)-powered livelihood activities.
