Mohana Bharathi Manimaran

Research Analyst

Mohana has joined The Council as a Research Analyst with the Climate Negotiations team. Her research tracks emergent global climate policy and negotiation mandates related to loss and damage, climate finance, and accountability.

Prior to joining The Council, Mohana interned across a range of policy-related work streams, including Energy access at WRI (India), ECD Policy at the Centre for Budget and Policy Studies (Bengaluru), Tech policy at the Center for Civil Society (New Delhi), and Poverty alleviation at The/Nudge (Bengaluru).

Mohana holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, including an Exchange semester at the Paris School of International Affairs—Sciences Po. She also has a Bachelor’s Honours in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. Outside of work, Mohana loves to travel to the seas or the hills and have a good cup of coffee any time of the day!
