Covid-19 response I CEEW launches SupportYourSuperheroes

CEEW has launched a campaign #SupportYourSuperheroes to thank the courageous people and institutions helping to flatten the curve. These unknown heroes are out there, risking their lives daily, to ensure our health and safety while the country is under lockdown. We also offer a few verses of pride and gratitude to offset the prejudice many of them are facing. We pay a small tribute to our Superheroes through these videos.

How else is CEEW helping

We are making cash contributions and donating medical supplies.

• Donated PPE kits and protective provisions like sanitizers, masks, and gloves to North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
• Pledged in-kind donation of PPE kits and protective provisions for local healthcare and community workers to South Delhi District Magistrate.

To humanitarian organisations, we have offered our in-kind support to various relief activities. To anyone on the frontlines, we offer our time, research and outreach networks, in any way they see fit, to help them.

To government officials, we have sent recommendations on what an economic recovery package could look like. We have also offered to assist in conducting rapid assessment surveys to understand the on-ground needs of vulnerable communities.

• Pledged support for awareness generation and rapid surveys to all four Delhi Municipal Corporations.
• Collaborating with other institutions to come up with more robust policy responses at an economy-wide and sectoral level.

For effective public outreach, we are on standby to design and publish information to combat myths with facts, produce ‘how-to’ communication materials, translation services and anything that can help life during and after the lockdown.
