Rishabh joined CEEW in 2012 and rejoined the team in 2018. He currently leads the Market Intelligence vertical at the CEEW Centre for Energy Finance. His work revolves around renewable energy, energy storage and electric mobility. Through his work, he has influenced policy design, reform and adoption. His core strength lies at the intersection of technology and sustainability with a focus on advancing the scale-up of critical RE projects, whilst collaborating with company CEOs, senior government bureaucrats, and leading stakeholders.
He actively promotes sustainability by authoring researched-backed reports that have been published by CEEW, academic journals and media houses. His writings focus on detailing the benefits of RE, translating complex information into understandable terms which garners awareness and support from governments, leading industry stakeholders, and companies. He has also led the team to conceptualise and build unique dashboards and web tools on electric mobility and renewable energy. Some of Rishabh's recent work includes studies on scaling up solar manufacturing, building resilient battery storage supply chain, tracking green bonds, framing decarbonisation strategies, drafting bioenergy strategies and developing frameworks for managed (EV) charging to support utilities.
Rishabh completed his bachelor in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and a Masters in Public Policy from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS). At NUS he was the recipient of the prestigious Li Ka-Shing scholarship. In the past, he has worked with leading solar module manufacturers, startups and industry associations.
