Samradh Singh Chauhan

Programme Associate

Samradh is an urban development practitioner in the Sustainable Mobility team at The Council. He is working on strategising and planning actions to achieve policy targets and improve urban mobility standards through research and stakeholder consultation. Prior to this, he was working with the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Programme (TRIPP), IIT Delhi as a Senior Project Scientist on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Oriented Mobility Planning for small cities of India. 
 
He belongs to Indore and pursued Civil Engineering for bachelors from the Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Madhya Pradesh. He completed post-graduation in Urban Development and Management from the TERI School of Advanced Studies in New Delhi. Urban development policies, urban governance and urban mobility were his primary interest areas during the masters. 
 
Samradh is a person of varied interests. Sports and travel are the areas which he tries to accommodate in his busy daily routines. He is a professional basketball player (inspired by Kobe Bryant) and represents a basketball club named National Basketball Academy, Indore. He has led his University basketball team and his College team to National Inter University Tournaments. He has pursued athletics and handball as well. Apart from playing, he also likes to explore places and document his travel through photography.
