Shreya Wadhawan

Research Analyst

Shreya is a Research Analyst with the Risks and Adaptation team at the Council. Her work focuses on spatio-temporal analysis of the key landscape and meteorological indicators that help design robust climate risk assessment tools. Prior to joining the Council, Shreya has interned with organisations like IIRS, ISRO, policy think tanks, NGOs and government institutions. She worked on spatial mapping, data analysis, and scientific research towards mitigation and adaptation actions.

She holds a master’s degree in Environment Management from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and a Bachelor’s in Botany (Hons) from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. As part of her research projects, she has worked on air quality models, satellite data analysis and spatial mapping at IIRS, ISRO.  She has experience working with local communities and government officials at all levels, including the district and block levels.

In her spare time, she loves to travel and explore new places. She is passionate about dancing, rain, and savoury food!
