Research Analyst

Soham has joined The Council as a Research Analyst in the Climate Resilience team. His work focuses on developing innovative frameworks to implement climate resilient infrastructure in the urban landscape using research, analysis, and spatial modelling.

Prior to joining the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW), Soham interned at NITI Aayog, where he contributed to research on city regions as economic growth hubs, tourism development, solid waste management, state sector policies, and global economic councils. He also worked as a Research Associate at MNIT Jaipur, where he contributed to government consultancy projects, including preparing a Project Proposal Report for the Ropeway Tourism Project for the Government of Rajasthan and conducting a study on urban resilience to fire hazards funded by SPARC, MHRD.

Soham holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a master's in Urban Planning from NIT Jaipur. Outside of academics and professional commitments, Soham is passionate about music and enjoys playing instruments. He also engages in recreational activities such as lawn tennis and billiards. Nature trails and beaches serve as his preferred means of relaxation. A keen reader, he stays updated on environmental, social, and economic issues through blogs and articles.
