Adeel is a Programme Associate in the Clean Air team at The Council. He works on air quality data analysis from monitoring stations and satellites. Adeel has previously worked as an intern with Indian and German air quality start-ups. He worked on air quality models, satellite data analysis and making forecasting models using machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently, he is a member of the Alumni Steering Committee with UN SDSN Youth and was formerly the SDG coordinator.
Adeel completed his graduation in Physical Sciences from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and post-graduation in Environmental Studies and Resource Management (ESRM) from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS). He has interned with organisations including the UN, policy think tanks and NGOs. His research lies in data analysis and sustainable resource management.
He likes to play Table Tennis and played in various tournaments and represented the college team. He also likes to travel and use trekking as a stress buster.
