Anannya is a Research Analyst with the Sustainable Mobility team. Her work focuses on generating advocacy to promote green shifts in transportation. Her area of interest includes planning for shared mobility, fleet electrification, spatial planning for charging infrastructure, and developing use cases for micro-mobility.
Anannya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from National Institute of Technology Raipur. Her undergraduate thesis delved into the review and sustainable planning of housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme, focusing on cost-reduction strategies while ensuring sustainability. Her academic pursuits also encompass a Master’;s degree in Planning with a specialisation in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. Her thesis during this time concentrated on sustainable mobility, emphasising the integration of diverse shared mobility modes to support sustainable development.
Outside of work, Anannya finds solace in sports and physical activities such as cycling, kabaddi, and cricket. She relishes moments away from electronic devices, preferring to explore new environments. Additionally, Anannya is developing a keen interest in entrepreneurship and enjoys investing time in brainstorming life-changing ideas aimed at enhancing happiness and simplicity in the lives of individuals amidst their busy schedules.
