Apaar has joined the council as a Research Analyst with the Mobility team. His work focuses on generating advocacy for non-motorised infrastructure, actions for reducing vehicle emissions through low-emission zones, and travel demand management.
Prior to joining the council, Apaar worked as a project architect at ANB Consultants. His projects included developing tourism master plans (Ayodhya and Vindhyachal), Kukrail River Revival, and Waterfront, Ayodhya Riverfront, Pawan Path Varanasi. He has also worked as a design consultant at the Varanasi Smart City office, where he was part of stakeholder presentations, tender meetings, and DPR design.
Apaar holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a master's in Urban Planning from CEPT Ahmedabad. Outside of work, Apaar loves performing theatre, watching cricket, and hunting for good non-veg outlets. His stress buster in the virtual world is exploring Google Earth and watching FRIENDS, while in the real world, it is exploring new cities on a bike.
