Ayushi is a Consultant with the Sustainable Water team at The Council. Her primary focus area is the circular economy in water management and rejuvenation. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Science and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies and a Bachelor's in Zoology from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
In her Masters, she undertook research projects focused on the vulnerability assessment of springs in the Himalayan region and the interlinkages between ecosystem services and biodiversity in association with IIT Roorkee and The Nature Conservancy. Her special area of interest is ecosystem-based adaptations, their significance in climate adaptation, and improving climate resilience in urban contexts. She enjoys exploring and integrating new methods of research and is currently exploring the systems approach that enables one to view a problem with a holistic lens.
Outside of work, you can find Ayushi trying to catch up on her hobbies of dancing, reading, and painting. Her form of therapy is a good workout and an even better playlist. Her dream is to reside in the heart of nature, surrounded by furry friends.
