Dhairya Nagpal

New Technologies Fellow - NGI Fellowship

Dhairya Nagpal is a Next Generation India Fellow in New Technologies at the United Nations Foundation and the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW). His work focuses on shaping policies for the responsible use of emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on data privacy, dark patterns, and ethical AI practices. He recently launched Privionix, a forward-thinking initiative dedicated to safeguarding data privacy and promoting digital ethics.

Professionally, Dhairya is the Product Owner for the Cost Per Order charter at Zomato, where he leads product innovations for cost efficiency, incentive optimization, and financial system enhancements within the delivery ecosystem. His previous experience spans product management, strategy & design, UX research, tech policy, and consumer behavior at organizations such as Housing.com, Mobile Premier League, Hike, Atom EI, IIT Delhi, Indian School of Business, S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, Concordia University (Canada), and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. He has also contributed to tech policy research at All Tech is Human and published research on ethical practices in HCI and consumer behavior at leading conferences, including the PAN IIM World Management Conference and renowned UX platforms.

Academically, Dhairya is a Gold Medalist and Department Rank 1 in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from Delhi Technological University, with a foundation in Data Science & Programming from IIT Madras.

Beyond academia and technology, Dhairya is a passionate artist and sculptor, with his work showcased at prestigious exhibitions and competitions. Through his initiative, Dhairya Nagpal Store (DNS), he merges art, technology, and storytelling to create immersive experiences that drive meaningful social impact. He also conducts workshops across various artistic mediums, including sculpting, at organizations like Palo Alto Networks, and spearheaded Art for Covid, a campaign that raised funds through art for COVID relief, reaching 5L+ people in less than a month.

Dhairya is also a lifestyle, art, and fashion content creator with a following of 42K+ across platforms and a reach of ~10 million users, having collaborated with brands like OnePlus, Philips, Manyavar, and The Souled Store for their strategic growth.
