Kurinji is a sustainable energy and environmental engineer working as a policy researcher. At The Council, she is currently working on air pollution and crop burning in Northern India as part of the Risks and Adaptation team. Her research interests include environmental pollution management and sustainable technologies to mitigate them.
Prior to her current role, Kurinji worked on the computation of particulate matter 2.5 over the Delhi NCT region using remote sensing and satellite data as a research intern at The Council.
Kurinji holds an undergraduate degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has also cleared the IGBC Accredited Professional Exam. She was a member of All India Agricultural Students Association.
Kurinji is a dilettante painter. She plays chess, and loves to explore new places.
