Namrata is a Consultant in the Clean Air team at The Council, where she works on developing a clean air action plan for cities, capacity building, and finding best practices for mitigation of air pollution.
Prior to joining CEEW, she worked with the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, where she spearheaded an air pollution monitoring project in Prayagraj under NAMP for almost eight years. She handled third-party inspection of Gross Polluting Industries and their sustainability under CPCB projects for four successive years, providing technical interventions and sustainable alternatives for environmental pollution.
Namrata has a doctorate degree from NIT Allahabad in air pollution focused on modeling and source apportionment study. She has her master's degree in Environmental Engineering from BIET Jhansi. She had also worked as an Environmental Executive in two firms for analysis of environmental projects and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, etc.
She loves music, spending time with her daughter, and cooking. She likes to travel to natural and calm places.
