The Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW) participated as an accredited observer at the 24th session of the Conference of Parties (COP24) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in Katowice, Poland from 2 to 14 December 2018. COP24 was a crucial meeting, with the contentious rule book for implementing the Paris Agreement being finalised at the end of the negotiations.
This year, we hosted four events, and presented our research on capacity building for increasing transparency under the Paris Agreement regime, low-carbon growth pathways for India and the world, and financing the energy transition.
Fact sheets on research we presented at COP24 are available below. A round-up of our engagements at COP24 is available here.
