Paras is a Research Analyst in the Low Carbon Economy team at the Council. He holds a Master's in Finance from Newcastle University, United Kingdom. His academic journey began with a commerce degree from the University of Delhi.

During his Bachelor’s, Paras researched on "Women's Participation in MGNREGA in Himachal Pradesh" under Delhi University’s Innovation Project. With a comprehensive understanding of finance and business, he completed his master’s thesis on “The impact of carbon emission trading systems on the profitability of companies in Europe”, bringing knowledge of carbon markets.

In addition to his professional endeavours, Paras is an enthusiastic traveller, undertaking three trips annually to broaden his perspectives. Dedication to continuous learning is evident in his commitment to 12 hours of weekly podcast listening.
