Rudhi Pradhan

Programme Lead

Rudhi is a Programme Lead in the Power team at The Council. He has around 10 years of experience in industrial sustainability and climate governance, through the prism of energy, emissions, and resources. He has experience in different low carbon technologies and developing policy recommendations required for energy and resource-efficient of different industrial sectors.

Rudhi has extensively worked in the energy transition on various fronts such as technical and financial assistance, demonstration of pilot technologies, and implementation support. He has also worked on the integration of alternative fuels/electrification of different processes of various industrial sectors to make them more sustainable and reduce their carbon footprint.

Rudhi was the co-author of "NH3-CO2 brine system for cold storage and seafood processing plants in India” presented at the 11th International Conference on Energy Efficiency on Motor-Driven Systems (EEMODS), Tokyo (Japan). Further, he has also written on priorities for a sustainable and resilient recovery.

Rudhi holds an engineering degree and a postgraduate degree in Power Management. He is also a certified energy auditor by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
