Sanvid is a Programme Associate in the International Cooperation team at The Council. Her responsibilities include researching issues at the nexus of trade and environment.

Prior to joining The Council, she served as a Junior Legal Affairs Officer at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) where she was responsible for environment and energy services. She also supported trade in environmental services related negotiations. Before working at The WTO, Sanvid also worked on trade and sustainable development related issues at the Trade Policy Division of the Department of Commerce, Government of India.

She has earned a Master of Law with a specialisation in WTO and International Trade Law from Georgetown University Law Centre. She studied law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
