Research Analyst

Shruti is a Research Analyst with the Clean Air team at The Council. Her work is centered around bolstering the clean cooking energy transition in India. With a strong focus on gender dynamics and behavioural interventions, she is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in sustainable energy and women empowerment.

She holds a Master's in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Drawing from her educational journey in behavioural sciences, she aims to blend insights from psychology and policy to drive positive change. Her master’s thesis delved into the intricate role of personal social networks in promoting the adoption of clean cooking fuels within urban slums in Delhi. As a Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC) Policy in Action Fellow, she was involved in a research initiative to formulate a comprehensive national policy to empower women entrepreneurs.

Beyond her professional commitments, she is an avid traveller, bird-watcher, and photographer. She embraces adventure sports to push her limits. With a penchant for horror and thriller films, she's always looking for her next cinematic adrenaline rush.
