Aditya Garg
Research Analyst
Being a public policy enthusiast, Aditya has joined the Council as a Research Analyst in the sustainable cooling team. Through public policy interventions and data-driven solutions, his research supports the implementation of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol with a major focus on End-of-Life disposal & recovery of the potent GHG(HFC) and the circular economy around it.
Before joining the Council, Aditya worked for the Directorate of Urban Land Transport, Bangalore, where he worked on critiquing the Draft Parking Policy 2020 and later prepared a toolkit for its implementation. He was awarded the third best project by the Commissioner.
Aditya has a Master's degree from the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Planning, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, and a Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Civil Engineering from OP Jindal University. His Master's degree project focused on how fuels made from biomass such as bio-ethanol & biodiesel could be used as a transition fuel, which can lead to the creation of a zero-emission transportation system. Apart from work, Aditya enjoys trekking in the Himalayas, playing snooker & badminton, discovering new cuisines, and listening to music of Indie and Metal genre.
