Duration

Purpose
CEEW seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of Research Intern under the Distributed Renewable Energy vertical in the Energy Transition team.
Job Duties and Accountabilities
Research
- Review literature and collate data from primary and secondary sources.
- Assist in undertaking qualitative and quantitative analysis for datasets using various methods and software.
- Assist in writing research reports, papers, briefs and issue notes, which could be circulated.
Programme Assistance
- Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets, and other communication materials.
- Assist with consumer outreach activities and engagement in awareness campaigns.
- Support efforts to use new media platforms for wider dissemination of CEEW's work and, in turn, closer engagement with the key stakeholders.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.
Selection Criteria
Qualification
Strong academic credentials, preferably a Master’s degree in developmental studies, political science, environment or public policy
Work experience
Key skills
- Good understanding of various Indian policies and regulations around renewable energy.
- Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with research methods in the applicable fields.
- Experience with impact assessment frameworks and systematic approaches such as cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience in conducting primary surveys with relevant stakeholders is preferred.
- Proficiency in word processing, presentation and data analysis tools.
Compensation
Competitive compensation – commensurate to the experience and matching the best of standards adopted by the industry or other similar organisations for similar roles.
