Chris is a Research Analyst with the Sustainable Mobility Team. She works on inclusive EV transitions, with a focus on the most vulnerable sections of society. She finds qualitative and immersive research exciting and tries to incorporate a participatory dimension in her work at The Council.
She formerly worked with Parisar, Pune on a State bus campaign and with Vanashakti, Mumbai on wetland and marine conservation. She recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Sustainable Development Practices from TERI School of Advanced Studies. Her thesis focused on incorporating soft policy approaches to enhance EV transition in India. She pursued a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology from St. Xavier's (Autonomous) College, Mumbai.
Outside work, she is an avid baker, loves painting and handicrafts, and enjoys a good puzzle. Her choice of activities varies throughout the year, the most recent of which has been collecting postcards from different places, gardening, and watching Modern Family with her sister and her dog, Foofoo.
