We are immensely proud to announce that Dr Arunabha Ghosh has been appointed as a member of ClimateWorks Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Board includes leaders from academic, business and philanthropic institutions, who are committed to tackle climate change.

ClimateWorks Foundation is a global platform for philanthropy to innovate and accelerate climate solutions. It delivers global programs and services that equip philanthropy with the knowledge, networks, and solutions to drive climate progress. Since 2008, ClimateWorks has granted over $1 billion to more than 500 grantees in over 40 countries.
Dr Ghosh has worked in the capacity of an advisor for various governments, industries, civil societies, and international organisations around the world. In 2020, the Government of India appointed him as the Co-Chair of the energy, environment and climate change track for India’s Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP2020). In the recent past, Dr Ghosh has been appointed as the Co-Chair of World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Clean Air and as one of the six members to a high-level panel of the Environment of Peace initiative. He has also been a member of the Environment Pollution (Prevention & Control) Authority for the National Capital Region (2018-2020).
