Uday Suryanarayanan
Research Analyst
Uday is a Research Analyst in the Clean Air team at CEEW. Using data-driven policy insights to propel change, he works on improving air quality in India.
In his earlier stint as an intern at the Council, he worked on a project to assess Delhi’s emergency response to winter air pollution. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS). While at TERI SAS, he worked on developing a statistical model to quantify the risk of mortality due to air pollution and on quantifying the causal relationship between the air quality in Delhi and other major urban centres in the NCR. He has done his Bachelor’s in Physical Science from Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi.
Outside of work, Uday spends his time studying world history and mythology, and is a connoisseur of Hindustani classical music.
