Rishabh Patidar

Research Analyst

Rishabh works as a Research Analyst in The Council's Industrial Sustainability and Competitiveness team. He aspires to be at the forefront of the ongoing energy transition and the sustainability movement, concentrating on industrial decarbonisation, clean fuels, and sound energy policy through a techno-economic appraisal of emerging technologies.

Before joining The Council, he worked at Worley (Energy, Chemical, and Resource) as a Process Engineer where he designed Chemical/Petrochemical plants and performed simulation studies. It was then that he developed an interest towards the techno-economic impact assessment of hydrogen in the chemical and petrochemical sector.

Rishabh is a Chemical Engineer by education – he has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ujjain Engineering College, MP and holds a MTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He worked on developing Nanomaterials similar to that of Graphene for energy storage applications (primarily for batteries and hydrogen Storage).

Reading self-help books and googling are two of Rishabh’s favourite hobbies. He finds some time for cycling and enjoys exploring the city.
