Anju Bhaskaran

Research Analyst

Anju is a Research Analyst at the Council with the sustainable food systems team. She comes with a background in water resource management and her research interests focus on  sustainability in agricultural ecosystems.

Anju holds a postgraduate degree in water science and governance from TERI SAS and has received interdisciplinary training in water and soil resource management, statistical analysis, GIS, and qualitative research. Previously, Anju has worked with PRADAN, a grassroots development organisation where she worked with farmers of East India on monitoring regenerative agriculture interventions. She has also worked with organisations like CEDAR, CPCB and TERI on various issues around climate change.

Anju strives to lead as sustainable a lifestyle as she can. She picked the battle against animal cruelty and the environmental impact of animal agriculture as her main priority and has adopted a vegan lifestyle since 2019.
