Nikhil is an Associate with CEEW Centre for Energy Finance (CEF). The Council’s new initiative, CEEW-CEF aims to reduce the gap between industry and policymakers by providing analysis of key market trends and develop bespoke financial solutions to advance the energy transition.
Nikhil comes from a consulting and power sector background. Prior to The Council, he worked with PwC, where he advised and assisted international development agencies, not-for-profits, governments and power utilities in the power & renewable energy sector. Projects involved market study, market-entry strategy, financial modelling and policy design. He also had a brief stint with KPMG where he worked with an Indian state government in policy design and investment promotion. In addition, he worked at Reliance Industries’ captive power plant in operations for couple of years.
Nikhil holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala.
